Myanmar Maid Agency Services in Singapore

From Myanmar to Singapore —
The journey we manage for you
From recruitment in Yangon to deployment in your home, A1 Housekeeper manages every step. We recruit, train, handle MOM documentation, and support you after placement.
A1 Housekeeper provides four core services to Singapore employers: recruitment of Myanmar helpers, language and caregiving training, MOM documentation and processing, and deployment to your home. Most agencies stop at matching and paperwork. We train every helper before she arrives, and we remain available after placement. This is what makes our placements last.
Our Services
A1 Housekeeper manages the entire journey—from recruitment in Yangon to deployment in your home. Here is what each stage involves.
Myanmar Maid Recruitment
We recruit helpers directly from Yangon, not through third-party brokers or sub-agents. This matters because it means we know each candidate personally before she is presented to you—her work history, her family situation, her reasons for wanting to work in Singapore, and whether she is genuinely suited to the type of household you have.
Every candidate goes through a screening process before entering our pool:
-
In-person interview conducted by our team in Yangon
-
Document verification — passport, age, medical history, previous employment records
-
Reference checks with previous employers where available
-
Skills assessment — cooking, childcare, elderly care, general housework
Only helpers who pass this screening are presented to employers. You choose from a vetted pool, not a database of strangers. And if we do not have a helper who fits your specific requirements, we will tell you honestly rather than pushing a poor match.
Language & Skills Training
Most maid agencies in Singapore do not train. They match a helper to an employer, process the paperwork, and step away. When problems arise weeks later—misunderstandings, unmet expectations, homesickness—there is no foundation to fall back on.
We take a different approach. Before any Myanmar helper is deployed to your home, she completes training in three areas:
1. English or Chinese communication. Understanding and following household instructions, asking questions when something is unclear, and communicating concerns before they become problems. Poor communication is the single most common cause of placement breakdown, and it is almost always preventable.
2. Infant and childcare. Feeding, hygiene, safety awareness, recognising illness, and age-appropriate care for children at different stages. For families with young children, this training is not optional—it is essential.
3. Elderly care. Mobility assistance, medication reminders, fall prevention, and respectful personal care for ageing parents. Myanmar helpers are often well-suited to elder care, but suitability without training is not enough.
This training is not a selling point. It is the reason our placements last. And it is why we developed our own Oral English Syllabus for Myanmar Helpers—a resource we use during training and share with employers who want to support their helper's progress at home.

MOM Documentation and Processing
MOM paperwork can be confusing and slow, especially for first-time employers. One missed deadline or incomplete document can delay your helper's arrival by weeks. We handle the entire process on your behalf, so your helper can start work as quickly as possible—with no compliance gaps.
What we manage:
-
Work permit application through MOM's FDW eService, including all supporting documents and your helper's written consent
-
Security bond purchase (required for non-Malaysian helpers)
-
Medical insurance (minimum $15,000 coverage) and **personal accident insurance** (minimum $40,000 coverage)
-
Settling-In Programme (SIP) registration — your helper must complete this within 7 days of arrival, and we ensure the deadline is met
-
E-Issuance of Work Permit Card and thumbprinting at MOM
-
GIRO setup for monthly levy payments
-
Six-monthly medical examination reminders and scheduling
You make one decision—the helper. We handle everything else. And if MOM requests additional documents or clarification at any stage, we deal with it directly, so you are not left navigating government portals alone.
How The Process Works
Tell us what you need—type of help, household size, preferences. We schedule a free consultation and explain the full process, timeline and costs.
We shortlist Myanmar helpers who fit your requirements and arrange interviews. You choose who you are comfortable with.
While we handle the MOM paperwork, your chosen helper completes her language and caregiving training in Yangon.
Your helper arrives in Singapore, completes the Settling-In Programme, and begins work. We stay in contact with both of you.

Deployment to Singapore Employers
We match trained Myanmar helpers to Singapore households—particularly working women who need dependable support with children, elderly parents or daily household management.
We do not simply hand your helper over at the office and step away. A member of our team personally brings your Myanmar maid to your home on the day of deployment, introduces her to your household, and walks her through an orientation covering your daily routines, household expectations, safety requirements and emergency contacts.
This orientation matters more than most employers realise. A helper who understands from day one how your kitchen is organised, when your children need to be picked up, what medication your parent takes, and whom to call in an emergency settles in faster and makes fewer mistakes. It also gives you the chance to ask questions and raise concerns face to face, rather than discovering problems weeks later.
After deployment, we remain reachable. We check in with both you and your helper, mediate when issues arise, provide free live WhatsApp translation, and manage replacements under our guarantee. You are never left to figure it out alone.

What Make Our Services Different
We train before we deploy.
Most agencies screen and place. We screen, train, then place. Every Myanmar helper arrives better prepared in English, infant care, and elderly care.
We specialise in Myanmar.
We are not a general maid agency. Myanmar is what we do. We know the recruitment channels in Yangon, the training gaps, and the cultural adjustments your helper will face.
We handle the paperwork end to end.
Work permit, bond, insurance, GIRO, Settling-In Programme. You do not touch the MOM eService portal.
We stay after placement.
Our relationship does not end when your helper starts work. We check in, mediate when needed, and manage replacements under our guarantee.
We are transparent about cost.
You will know exactly what you are paying and why, before you commit to anything.
