This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you visit our website, contact us via WhatsApp, or engage our services.

By using our website or providing us with your personal data, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

From employers:

• Household details you choose to share (e.g., number of children, caregiving needs)

• Information required for MOM work permit applications, including NRIC or FIN where required by law

From domestic helpers:

• Name, nationality, date of birth

• Passport and work permit details

• Employment history, skills, and training records

• Medical information required for work permit processing

From website visitors:

• IP address, browser type, and pages visited (collected automatically by Wix, our website platform)

• Information you submit through our contact form

We do not collect more data than is necessary for the purpose for which it is provided.

We may disclose personal data to:

• MOM and government authorities where required for work permit processing and regulatory compliance

• Insurance providers for the purchase of medical and personal accident insurance

• Service providers who assist us in operating our business (e.g., IT support, website hosting), subject to confidentiality obligations

• Former employers of domestic helper candidates, for reference checks where consent has been obtained

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

Specific to domestic helper data: In accordance with MOM Employment Agency Licence Condition #17, we do not publicly display full biodata or photographs of domestic helpers on our website . Only whitelisted information (name, nationality, skills, employment history, language ability) may be displayed publicly. Full biodata is shared only with prospective employers who have registered with us, or upon request .

6. Consent and Withdrawal

By providing your personal data to A1 Housekeeper, you consent to its collection, use, and disclosure as described in this Policy.

You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer (details below). Upon withdrawal, we will stop using your personal data and will delete or anonymise it unless we are required by law to retain it.

Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide services to you. We will inform you of the likely consequences before processing your request.

7. Access and Correction

You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, and to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete data.

Employer and helper data related to work permit applications is retained for the period required by MOM regulations. Website enquiry data is retained for up to two years unless you request deletion earlier.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse. These measures include restricted access to records, secure storage of physical documents, and password-protected digital systems.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Some of our service providers (including Wix, our website platform) may store data outside Singapore. Where personal data is transferred overseas, we ensure that the recipient is bound by legally enforceable obligations to provide a standard of protection comparable to that under the PDPA.

Our recruitment centre in Yangon, Myanmar, processes candidate data for the purpose of training and deployment. This data is handled in accordance with our internal data protection standards, which mirror PDPA requirements.
